why do i need to save it as a vector?

I would need to save this file as a vector because if i want to zoom in the picture it won’t get pixelated and I can print it out onto plastic that can stick onto the van


Band tour flyer:

save file as - PDF

Why do I need to save it as a PDF?

I would need to save this file as a PDF because if someone wants to view the flyer they can view it without the Microsoft Publisher software if they don’t have it
